Fossil Falls

A 20,000-year-old basalt flow in the Coso Range that the glacial-era Owens River carved and polished into smooth black chutes and potholes. Reached by a mile of dirt road off US-395 north of Little Lake, with a short walk from the parking area to the falls and a primitive BLM campground alongside.
