Leads through subalpine forest of white and red fir, lodgepole, and Jeffrey/ponderosa pine above 7,000 feet, past granite outcroppings near Mitchell Peak, to Weaver Lake, a clear subalpine lake good for summer fishing; often combined with Jennie Lake in a loop, as a day hike or 2.5-day overnight trip.
