A hike through East Bay hills terrain connecting two preserves, passing volcanic rock formations from an ancient extinct volcano, shaded forest, eucalyptus and Coulter pine, chaparral, and grassland. Reach views of Mount Diablo, the Berkeley hills, and Mount Tamalpais on clear days, with spring wildflowers along the way; dogs aren't allowed within the Huckleberry Preserve boundary.
