1.7 million acres of steep, botanically rich Klamath Mountains cut by the Klamath, Scott and Salmon rivers. Four wilderness areas sit inside it - Marble Mountain, Russian, Red Buttes and Siskiyou - along with roughly 168,000 acres of old growth.
