A strenuous ridge climb from redwood forest at Limekiln State Park up through brush and loose rock to exposed, shadeless slopes atop Twin Peak and Cone Peak, with sweeping views over the rugged Big Sur coastline. Footing is unstable and some connector segments are overgrown or washed out, so it's best for strong, experienced hikers.
