A 60,222-acre transition zone in the southernmost North Coast Range, from Snow Mountain's flat, eroded high country down through fir forests to oak woodland and chaparral along Stony Creek. Some 42 miles of trails, including the 6.5-mile Overlook Loop, suit hikers and horsepackers.
