Success Lake

near Porterville, Tulare County, California · Recreation Area

A 2,450-acre reservoir on the Tule River five miles east of Porterville, behind Schafer Dam. The Army Corps runs it jointly with Tulare County Parks; Tule Campground has 103 sites, and the lake takes boats, waterskiing, kayaks and swimmers.
