A 16,526-acre area of volcanic and glacial terrain in Lassen National Forest, with seven major lakes, meadows, and Crater Peak at 8,677 feet. Anglers and hikers use 21 miles of trail, including a scenic six-mile route past the greatest concentration of lakes.
