A 537,357-acre expanse west of Redding holding the Trinity and Salmon Wild and Scenic Rivers, 55 lakes, virgin timber stands, and peaks to 9,000 feet. Visitors use 550 miles of trails, including 17 miles of the Pacific Crest Trail, for multi-day loop hikes.
