Humboldt Redwoods State Park spans about 51,651 acres and protects the largest remaining stand of ancient coast redwoods on Earth — roughly 17,000 acres of old-growth forest, including the famed Rockefeller Forest. Visitors enjoy the Avenue of the Giants scenic drive, miles of hiking trails, and riverside camping along the Eel River.
